Chapter 165 Date Night With Ella Takes An Odd Turn.

Kyle was on a date with Ella, he was surprised that she brought him somewhere so expensive.

It was easily over $1,000 to secure reservations.

Kyle would have been swooped off his feet if he didn't have the recent experience granted to him by his system.

This would have been the best moment of his life otherwise but regardless, it was a nice gesture from Ella.

One he knew people would have a hard time reciprocating but was curious how she came into contact with such an amount of money.

Kyle knew not to ask her when he could simply ask Isabella, she was accountable to him.

"Don't be afraid, eat to your heart's content," Ella urged him.

She wanted Kyle to eat his fill even though Kyle didn't want to run down her bill just because he had permission to.

However, he also knew he shouldn't eat anything too cheap or she would feel insulted for bringing him all the way here.

This was why he chose the meals that sat in the middle in terms of price range.

The waitresses were stunning but Ella noticed that Kyle didn't once check anyone out.

This was strange, she wouldn't hold it against him if he stole a glance or two.

He was a man and even she found herself stealing glances at them.

"He's so weird..." Ella thought to herself as she watched Kyle eat the food in front of him with such concentration that he couldn't register what else was going on in the world.

Ella had to look away soon after when she realized she was staring at Kyle a little too much.

"Hey Kyle..." Ella's voice had a tone that sounded both confused and uncertain prompting Kyle to look at her with a mouth filled with lobsters.

She was an artist so it was strange that she would react this way, she should be used to performing in front of crowds.

"Does she feel like she doesn't belong here?" Kyle thought to himself.

He could see her eyes weren't focused but also knew that she had heard what he had said regarding her.

Kyle got up to his feet suddenly, and everyone's attention shifted to him.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?" Ella whispered, wanting him to sit back down.

"The first five people to finish their food get $10,000,000 each," Kyle said and the restaurant fell silent. This was a lot of money and Ella's jaw dropped.

She knew he was rich but this was on a whole other level and the people she thought were supposedly better than her began to eat their food like it was their last supper.

Kyle nonverbally showed her that these people would forfeit their pride for the sake of money.

Kyle's words weren't enough to convince them but the black card he held up was.

He sat back down and looked at Ella who was still in shock by what he had just done.

"W-WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?" Ella asked in a hushed voice.

"Because they made you uncomfortable, that is all. You're my date so your comfort is my priority..." Kyle informed her with a stern voice that surprised even her.

"He spent $50,000,000 just to make me feel comfortable?" Ella's thoughts couldn't comprehend this.

"Hold up! Don't think I'm paying for the food! I'm going to run you to the ground!" Kyle reiterated with a triumphant giggle as he returned to his and Ella's heart began to beat at a rapid pace.

She couldn't contain her smile before responding.

"Not if I run myself into the ground first!"

"That doesn't even make any sense," Kyle added and both of them laughed out loud.

The only difference was that Ella no longer cared about who could hear her.
