She decided that it was her chance to approach him while he was alone.

The princess was already impressed by her previous actions of supporting her, hence she nodded readily, agreeing to her request before continuing her conversation with the head of the Talisman society.

Xue Nanxi rushed after the Ninth prince, however, noticing that she couldn't fly, she clapped.

"Help me follow the ninth Prince." She quickly ordered.

The guard nodded without hesitation, making her float behind him as he quickly moved in the direction where the ninth prince went.

After flying for a while, the ninth prince came into view, standing beside a man clad in dark robes. He was having some conversation with him.

The area was an open field with huge rocks and boulders lying there.

To hide, they both hid behind one of these rocks, peeking at the ninth prince.

They couldn't hear what the conversation was about from this far.

"It appears he is using a sound barrier." The guard informed.

Since he was a King realm cultivator, his senses were heightened and he could hear sounds from this distance if he focused, however, right now, even a little whisper was difficult to hear.

This was only possible if they were using a sound barrier.

The ninth prince turned to Nanxi and asked with a smile: "So, tell me, who are you and why did you follow me?"

He didn't recognize her since this was the first time he saw her.

Of course, her dress had the Xue clan's insignia, indicating that she was from the Xue clan. Moreover, she had a king realm cultivator as her guard, meaning that she held a significant position in the clan.

Nanxi calmed herself and answered: "I'm the youngest princess of the Xue Clan, Xue Nanxi! It is an honor to finally meet you, your highness."
