Ashen smiled as he looked at her face which had wide eyes of shock looking back at him.

What? How did he derive this meaning from what I said?

"Don't worry, we can take it slow. I can understand your worries, but think about it. If we marry, your clan can come and support me instead of the third sister who has no chance at winning."

She glared at him, not finding the joke funny.

"Alright alright, I'll do as you ask." He said, admitting defeat.

He landed at the entrance, gently putting Nanxi to the ground, and letting her stand.

"I'll leave you here, goodbye!" He said before flying back to his gallery.

"Phew, it's finally over..." Nanxi sighed in relief before taking a step toward the arena.

It was only now that she noticed the blue screen floating in front of her.

Till now, she was busy with the ninth prince and didn't take notice of the screen.

"Huh? The text has changed." She wondered, noticing that the text was different from usual.

She focused, beginning to read:

[Congratulations!! Xue Nanxi, you have come in contact with a person who can change your destiny.]

Her eyes opened wide in shock and disbelief. She rubbed her eyes a few times to check if she was reading wrong.

However, soon this disbelief turned into pure joy and relief.

She had finally found her way to escape her cruel destiny.

She stared in the direction where Ashen had left with a relieved smile and teary eyes. "I finally found you..." She whispered.
