Right in front of me, there was a Giant Glacial Wolf, a C Rank Monster. Remembering that damn Abyssal Dweller Queen I fought back then, this thing is supposedly even stronger than her. Although it is smaller, it is much more agile, stronger, and intelligent than that giant bug. This one seems like a Pack Leader, while the rest of the Glacial Wolves are usually D-Rank or even D+ Rank.
Maybe if it had been me in the past, I would have pissed myself off with the fear that this beast induced in me. But now, I felt like it was just another prey, another hunt I must take down. Perhaps my first Dungeon Break and then those Trials I underwent in the Egyptian Death Gods Dungeons further strengthened my resolve.
“GRRHH...”
The Giant Glacial Wolf was preparing itself to leap over me. This monster’s main method of attack was slashing, biting, or piercing someone with the big ice horn they had on their foreheads. And it seemed that it was going for the latter.
“RAAARGH!”
FLASH!
The Giant Glacial Wolf leaped towards me at an incredible speed, which I was barely able to equal thanks to my equipment, privileges, and the Ki flowing across my veins.

It went for a stomp using its front legs, hitting the ground with an immense attack and shattering the ground. The bastard went for something I didn’t even expect.
With this effect I just activated, I do have a 150% buff to my AGI and a +100% to DEX, and on top of that, the Ki Aura of my own physique further improves my stats by a bit by spending Ki.
And well, I do have a companion with me.
“GRAARGH?!”
“KRIEEE!”
Violet roared furiously, attacking the Giant Glacial Wolf with his enormous scythes. Unlike his mother, he was super-fast even at his gigantic size, and his blows devastated the surroundings, so strong and big that it made the Giant Glacial Wolf, a monster with way higher stats than him, be temporarily intimidated, stepping back and giving me an opportunity.

Two slashes made out of golden flames emerged out of my knife as they landed on the Giant Glacial Wolf while it gave me its back, damaging it severely. The wolf roared in panic, suddenly conjuring two enormous icicles and firing them at me at the same time!
I quickly evaded one while I sliced another into two, only for the wolf to appear right behind the sliced icicles, opening its jaws to maul my head apart. However, a gigantic scythe smacked the wolf into the ground, and Violet came to the rescue! Rapidly, he wrapped the wolf’s legs with his silk, and I leaped into the beast’s head.
“I don’t have all the time in the world to deal with you, so please die quickly!” I roared, piercing the wolf’s skull with my knife and then infusing all the dragon flames and sunshine I could inside the wound.
BOOOOMM...!!
The wolf’s head—well, it exploded into pieces. It was a bit gross, and I was covered in all of its brains, but there was no helping it.
