Before Kevin could be eaten completely, Violet jumped in front of him and kicked him away from Roy’s slimy maws, as the small insect was consumed by the poisonous, acidic slime instead!
“Violet?!” Kevin groaned as he glanced in horror as the small monster bug companion of Anna was completely devoured. “N-No!”
“Don’t worry,” Anna said.
“Chuuu!” Shiro appeared, covering Kevin with bright light.
FLASH!
Kevin was covered in a revitalizing light, glowing with celestial properties as the wounds on his skin swiftly healed.
“Don’t worry?! Your pet got eaten!” Kevin panicked.
“He’s fine,” Anna said. “Right, Violet?”
“KRIEEEEEHHH!!!”
“NNGH?! W-What with this... damn... BUG?!”
Roy quickly realized something really wrong was happening, as Violet’s small body suddenly started to grow larger and larger in size! To make things more bizarre, the bug had yet to be completely melted by its acidic properties. Roy groaned in agony as his entire body splattered over the floor. Violet emerged out of it completely intact! In fact, it seemed to have gained a temporary enhancement.

“T-That damn... monster...! How come it is immune to my acid?! Not even the hardest of metals can resist it!” Roy groaned in frustration, finally breaking his childish behavior. “Unforgivable... A mere BUG?!”
"Thankfully, I prepared Violet right for this situation.” Anna smiled.
Indeed, Violet had just evolved this morning through Anna’s materials; she had fed on his evolution. She had made sure to feed as many poison-type ingredients as she could, which she got from the Hunter’s Store; a few of them included the materials of the Poison Eating Boa, a monster that is known for appearing on poison-type Dungeons and that eats venomous monsters without being affected.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Violet had also become a Demonic Beast as it also absorbed Demon Materials through his Evolution! With that came a mighty strong Privilege, Insect Tyrant.

A Unique Privilege that only the tyrants amongst insects can acquire.
Increases All Stats by +10%, Damage Dealt against foes by +20%, ignores -10% of their defenses. While fighting against Insect-type Foes, Damage Increases by a further +30%, and attacks can ignore -15% of the foe’s defenses. Can command Insect-type Monsters.

It wasn’t as strong as some skills, but it provided a flat enhancement to all stats, damage dealt, and even defense ignoration, something that allowed Violet to deal damage to Roy.
Violet had certainly grown a lot from the small little pill bug he used to be.
“Okay, maybe you can absorb my damn acid... But can the rest do it too?! And what about this?! Roy roared, his entire slime-like body shapeshifting into an even bigger monstrosity with several tentacles and red eyes.
Each red eye suddenly shone brightly, firing dark beams of demonic energy and darkness against Anna and her friends, all while shooting Acid Bullets as well, capable of piercing through hard magic armor.
Roy cried in agony as he started losing his body mass—something he could only recover by consuming living beings! However, he simply didn’t have any time to eat when he was being attacked from all sides.
His movements became sluggish as Anna slashed his body apart with her mighty Gram and her two exploding daggers; Kevin pierced his body and spread out the cracks; Dan Baihe kept freezing him with Snow through conjuring Blizzard non-stop; and Annabelle used her sharp claws and kicks to shatter him into pieces.
The worst part of all for Roy was that while his body was being frozen, his acid couldn’t work properly, making him grow desperate!
“Scarlet! Why are you not helping me?!” Roy screamed. “COME DOWN AND HELP ME!!!”
FLASH!
Suddenly, a shadow appeared above everyone, and the smell of blood filled everybody’s nostrils. The second they lanced into the skies, Scarlet appeared, her eyes glowing red as blood gathered around her body, shaping into dozens of spears. Her face was filled with desperation, and she was glancing at Anna’s group as if trying to tell them to evade her attacks.
“{Blood Spear Rain}”
The spears made of blood descended rapidly, hitting the ground and exploding into Blood Needles. Anna and her friends were caught almost off-guard as the explosions reached their bodies, with Kevin and Annabelle being the most affected!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“Unnggh...!”
“Arghh!”
“Retreat!!!” Anna roared as Violet swiftly grabbed both Kevin and Annabelle and moved at almost supersonic speed, evading the explosions of blood that Scarlet kept unleashing.
At the same time, Anna jumped over Snow, and with Dan Baihe, they quickly escaped from the constant explosive projectiles coming towards them.
“About time you did something! Why weren’t you even fighting this entire time?!” Roy groaned furiously, his body quickly unfreezing as he became liquid once more, and then took the form of a child.
“I...” Scarlet muttered, but she couldn’t make up the words.
“Urgh... They took a large portion of my mass...! I can’t find them anywhere!” Roy looked everywhere for more, but he couldn’t find his frozen chunks.
And that was because Anna had stored them inside her Inventory, naturally!
“Are you looking for something?” Anna smiled, showing him a frozen, purple-colored piece of ice.
“Y-YOU BITCH!!!”
Roy quickly bounced back to battle, this time deciding to fight on his smaller and speedier form, as he grew two more pairs of arms with sharp spear-like ends that materialized into metal-like hardness.
“Enough games! I’ll just kill you ALL! Scarlet! Come here and kill them before they become even more of a threat!” Roared Roy.
“Scarlet... Is she?!” Dan Baihe recognized her.
“It’s really her?!” Kevin asked. “You’re a Hunter! Why are you helping these bastards?!”
“Scarlet is... She’s a good person!” Annabelle cried.
“Good person, my ass!” Roy arrived where they were at almost the same incredible speed as Violet, and then unleashed a barrage of physical blows; whenever he hit the floor, the entire streets would tremble.
“She’s a monster, just like we are, Annabelle!!!” Roy cried in fury, growing madder as he reached Annabelle and struck her down with dozens of attacks at once.
“Aaarrggh...!”
Annabelle’s exoskeleton armor shattered into pieces in an instant, and she was covered with terrible wounds all over her body, bleeding constantly.
BAAAM!
Her body fell over the ground, creating several cracks beneath, as she vomited a mouthful of blood. Her eyes looked tired and in pain.
“Why are you not using your true form, Annabelle?! Do you think you actually stand a chance in that tiny little form you got?” Roy laughed. “For a traitor, you’re really a fucking retard! Now I’ll-”
However, Anna appeared right behind Roy as fast as she could, resembling a flash of pure light thanks to her powerful Seraphin Wings! Gram overflowed with her Ki, Mana, and her Celestial Power coming from her Nephilim Class.
“{Celestial Mode}! {Sunlight Blade}!”
By swinging her blade rapidly and masterfully, Anna covered Roy with countless slashes of pure divine light, his entire body dividing into dozens of pieces. However, that wasn’t all, as Anna gathered all the Divine Power within her and then brought out another second sword, the sword of the King of Angels, Oblivion!

“I don’t give a fuck! As long as it can channel Divine Power, it’s all fair game for me!” Anna thought as she dual-wielded two Holy Swords at once, and with their blades together, she unleashed a blazing beam of pure Sunlight Power!
BOOOM!
Roy was instantly beginning to fade away, incapable of resisting the tremendous power of Anna’s attack when he least expected it.
“F-FUCK! SCARLET!”
“{Blood Hand}!”
Roy couldn’t take the tremendous amount of Celestial Angelic Light. As Scarlet desperately rushed to his aid, a huge hand made of pure blood fell from the skies, crushing Anna into the ground like a bug.
“Dammit! Scarlet, let me kill him! You're not like him!" Anna groaned, trying to free herself from her grasp! “I know you love my brother; I know... you’re not bad!”
At the same time as Anna said these words, Roy quickly recovered from the damage he had taken and slowly walked towards Anna.
“Hahah... You’re mine now!”
His entire body shifted into a monstrous slime, about to engulf the restrained Anna entirely! Scarlet’s hands were trembling as she watched the scene.
“SCARLET!”
Anna’s scream reached Scarlet’s heart as she gritted her teeth.
What will she do?!
