After admiring the endless ocean and the endless sky of this resting area, I slowly calmed down and decided to take a warm shower to relax. After that, I moved and changed clothes. The room was full of new clothes, so I decided to get into something more comfortable. We were staying for another day and a half, so might as well, right?
I was a pink shirt, some easy-to-use sport shorts, and sandals, nothing else. I just wanted to not wear huge pieces of armor over my body; it’s very tiring and gets my body all sweaty and sticky. I would rather not have that at all times.
I checked on everyone else, and they were still sleeping; only Fang Shuan was awake, mostly cultivating in his room, so I didn’t want to disturb him.
In fact, I was going to do some cultivation too... or well, more like eating a bunch of cultivation materials and getting stronger, typical cultivation method. Based on all cultivation novels that do the same.
Now that I am in a cultivation world similar to those, why wouldn’t that logic apply here too? I find it perfectly logical!
Now, onto the meat and potatoes of everything, the items. Aside from what I got, I discovered I had several Golden Ki Pearls I had yet to use saved from the Murim Dungeon back home, so I decided to eat this right away to get at least a bit more maximum Ki Stat.
Anyway, this was the list of items:

The only non-consumable item was the Necklace, which was pretty good equipment I was going to check alter. I think it has some relation with Hope Ki, so it could help in that regard.
The pills are all consumable items to boost something in particular; most likely, then there’s the scrolls, the heart of hope scrolls... Can I use them to boost martial arts comprehension directly?
I think that’s what they are for! Only Master, the creator of these martial arts, could even create these magical scrolls anyway.
Then there’s the blank one...? What are those even for? Maybe they work with any?
Lastly, more pills, but for the whole Spirit Body, now that will be quite the experience.
Oh, right, and the Golden Heaven Pearl, which is most likely a part of master’s martial arts, so she’s giving me these to enhance Heart of Hope.
“Looks like you’ve got quite the buffet of drugs here,” Sepa appeared by my side, shining brightly with golden and cosmic light; her new appearance was sure flashy. “Good morning, sleepyhead.”
“Hey, I was just wondering where the annoying girl who lived inside my heart went to!” I greet her.
“Rude... I was just tired and went to sleep. I did help you yesterday after all! Although you were adamant about not using cosmic transformations, I did help you regulate your Ki all the time,” she said. “Also I added sprinkles of cosmic energy. So it had that oomph to it!”
“I knew you did something to it! When I told you to just let me use my powers, I mean it... Don’t add cosmic energy for everything!” I facepalmed.
“Well, does it even matter anyway? You won, and that’s good,” she said. “Is the talking sword still asleep?”
[“I am in fact not asleep, just contemplating life as a sword...”]
“You are?!”
[“Yes, for example, I’ve begun to wonder why am I even a sword? Don’t you think my entire personality is strange for just a tool that can think and talk? Why did they even make me capable of doing that? Not many other relics even do this!”]
“Right...”
In the original story, Gram’s whole deal was never assessed; my brother never got the other half, and the one he has cannot talk at all; it is just a vessel of darkness for Fenrir.
Ultimately, his Gram ended up being power creeped, and my brother replaced it for a better sword midway through the story.
And then it was just eternally forgotten.
But yeah, he’s not wrong; why is he the way he is?
It almost feels like... his soul wasn’t originally just a sword.
“Maybe you’re the soul of some unfortunate loser or something; I bet that’s why you’re so damn annoying sometimes, Gram,” said Sepa.
[“Excuse me?! You’re the only one that’s annoying here! I cut and eat dragons; what do YOU do? You’re an ugly space bug! That’s the only special thing about you!”]
“Hah, you want me to break you with these space bug mandibles now?!”
She started clicking her mandibles as Gram’s body started quivering a bit...
“Anyways, you’re not wrong; there’s something iffy about your whole being; good thing you finally started questioning it, Grammy,” I said.
[“Grammy?! I am Gram!”]
[“Unfortunately I have no memories before being a sword, so there’s no clues at all about anything. The only thing we could do is ask those involved with my creation or my wielder... Sigurd or the Asgardians...”]
“Could Fenrir know something too?” I wondered.
[“Hardly! That stupid dog only broke me into two pieces; he doesn’t know a single thing about my origins.”]
“Oh well... Let’s move on; we can find out about this more in detail later. There’ll be plenty of opportunities, especially once the Floating Continent of Midgard appears,” I said.
[“The what?!”]
“Spoilers for future developments, let’s leave it at just that... Now.”
As I chatted with the two of them while I saw my familiar still sleeping over the bed, I consumed the pills one after another. Thankfully, I didn’t get any stomachaches from eating many at the same time.
So as if they were snacks, I started eating them while drinking some tea alongside it; each pill gave me a nice boost of power, a tiny sparkle of light that intensified as I ate them all.
Then I absorbed the pearls, and I was done.
FLUOSH!
My Aura shifted between gold, blue, and green constantly; I felt so strong, my Martial Core, my Physique, and even my Spirit Body, all having developed more.
Not even hundreds of thousands of Mana would be enough; to feel relaxed, I would need millions... But I don’t think anybody other than the Venerables even has such large quantities.
“Nice, finally done!” I nodded.
I looked at my Status to see my growth so far.

Yeah, everything increased smoothly, even without leveling up; all of these items have helped me grow stronger, thankfully.
And my Ki Stat is already over 70k?! That’s more than my own Mana now.
I should definitely cultivate my Mana next, once I finish this trial.
And... Huh?
What’s that [???] in the Martial Arts?
I click on it, but it shows nothing but question marks.
Is this my Myriad Self Arts?
Maybe this means it is developing...
“Now, this is the only thing left.”
And I think there might be something that could work at developing it even further.
Three beautiful spherical golden crystals rested over my hands, emanating heavenly ki of yellow color.
“They’re really beautiful...” Sepa commented.
“Indeed.”
The Golden Heaven Pearls—I got three of them.
Time to see what these will do for me.
