"Do you want to see the three ducklings? They should have grown up by now. It's about time we paid them a visit," the girl understood what the Indigo Snake was thinking.

The big spider blinked its eyes, then circled around the girl. Just as it was about to leap, a hand pressed down on its head, catching it.

"You can't outpace me now," compared to half a year ago, Hexia was just a step away from reaching Sequence 5 and could now keep up with the speed of the giant spider.

After stopping the giant spider's mischievous idea, the girl held it in her arms to prevent it from causing more trouble, then she and the Indigo Snake went to the balcony.

Standing on the balcony of the high tower, the girl jumped down, holding the giant spider. The wind and air currents rushed by her ears, and the coolness of summer revitalized her. Although her pockets were limited, her storage space was filled with many things, and with no outsiders or surveillance around, she was free to take things out at will.

After feeding the ducklings and the larger ducks, Hexia stood back up, shook the bell to signal there was no more left.

"Quack quack quack~" After circling the girl a few times, the three large ducks returned to the lakeside. Then, they entered the water one by one and led a fleet of ducklings swimming on the lake, occasionally pecking at the tiny fish.

Their light orange feet stirred the water, while the clear lake revealed gently swaying weeds and occasionally large black fish swam by before disappearing into the depths of the lake.

It was really pleasant, resting against a tree while sitting down, Hexia listened to the rustling leaves in the woods, feeling an unusual tranquility. Far from the noisy, contentious network and away from the complex society with its many rules, everything seemed to slow down in this secluded mountain forest and lakeside—she could even count the particles of dust dancing in the sunshine.

Leaning against the tree for a nap, leaves occasionally fell, landing among the girl's skirt and hair strands, joining her in her dreams.
