Occult: World of Yandere

Volume 2 – Season Finale II

Volume 2 – Season Finale II

"Accidental!?"

He repeated, the word sharp with disbelief.

"Yes, accidental."

Lisa answered without hesitation.

"Originally, my arrival on your planet was caused by my pilot Zorath at the time attempting to run away from our enemies... But he failed in the worst way possible."

Said Lisa as she explain her situation to her new master.

At her words Nier rubbed a hand over his jaw, processing her story, at first glance it would be hard to believe, however he is an outer god, and his true form literally exist in higher state of being within Immaterial Sphere.

So this was not as unbelievable as it sounds, there was also the state of his own world that his mortal vessel occupy as well.

'How interesting, my home universe seems to have the best of both worlds, the power of magic and fantasy, and the amazing endeavour of science and technology, some so advance that beings like Lisa were created from another species other than human.'

Nier said to himself, but soon asked with his reply.

"I see... But who were your enemies, really? From what you've told me so far, your creators, the Ignimozian seem to have been from an extremely technologically advanced civilization compared to ours. Hyperspace drives, nanite repair swarms, quantum-level ship regeneration... that kind of tech makes anything we've got look like sticks and stones. So I can only imagine how powerful another civilization had to be if they could give your creators that much trouble."

A brief silence followed after Nier asked that question, as Lisa tried to find a way on how to answer Nier's question.

It was her equivalent of gathering her thoughts, or perhaps sifting through newly restored memory she has just unlocked.

Then eventually, she finally spoke.

"My creators enemies are called the Hrist...but to call them a mere biological species is kind of downplaying what they truly are, and what they are capable of."

"Hmm, the Hrist, what a weird name, but that aside, why can't you see them as a species."

"That is because they were not a single species in the way the Ignimozian were. They were... a collective. A gestalt intelligence distributed across countless biomechanical vessels and hive-mind drones. From what we know about them, they are far older race of Xeno lifeform than our own civilization, so old in fact, they have long move from planetary settlements, and have no known central homeworld, or worlds like many other Xeno lifeforms within our universe."

"They exist within an artificial imaginary non-euclidean plane higher than the standard 3rd dimension, but lower than the fourth dimension, basically a Nexus reality that gives them watch of the entire universe, to them the universe space is just a crumble piece of paper, as such they can watch and warp into existence like a digital spectator, and from what we know they exist only to consume and assimilate everything in their path."

"Technology, biology, knowledge, matter, everything... They devoured it all and folded it into themselves to further their expansion across the galaxies of our universe."

Lisa said, as she tried to explain the dangers of the Hrist.

Naturally of course, Nier's brow furrowed deeper at her words, as he responds back.

"Like the Borg? From those old sci-fi shows?"

"Similar in outcome yes... But different in mechanism. The Ignimozian for example are a species that specialized to endure, to repair, and to outlast in war, they are warrior species after all. The Hrist on the other hand existed to erase distinction. Individuality as a concept is seen as totally inefficiency to them. All matter to Hrist is precious resource, it can be from enemy or foreign ships, or its pilot, or even something with both organic and inorganic matter like a planet, and once the matter is harvested they can recreate, fuse, or even upgrade what has been assimilated within them."

"What a complex lifeforms the Hrist are."

Nier commented on Lisa description.

"That they are, but that aside, I take it we can trust each other from now on master."

"I have always trusted you, mother had you here before I was even born, even if your primary functions was sealed by her for reasons unknown to me."

Said Nier.

"Ahhh, well, I am glad to know that my presence is so accepted here, still your mother sealed my main function's on the night you and she had that argument, she was unsure if you were fit to be Lady Kaly's avatar, however sooner or later you were bound to step up, and thankfully it was sooner rather than later."

Lisa informed Nier who nodded his head in agreement.

"That is good to know Lisa, now finish your story on how you got here and most of all how you even ended up with my mom."

"If you will allow it sure, like I was saying prior, the Ignimozian repair fleets were especially hated because we could undo the work of our enemies in real time. Because of our technology when going up against us, the Hrist would attack any starship on sight, summoning many boarding swarms around us and those swarms would latch onto a hull, and forcefully begin assimilating the metal and crew... But with our tech, our nanites, would simply rebuild the damage faster than they could consume it. It turned battles into stalemates that lasted weeks, sometimes even months, for that reason destroying a repair fleet is essential when the Hrist goes up against us."

He let out a low whistle.

"So I take it that your pilot, Zorath was trying to run from a full-on assimilation fleet from the Hrist."

"Affirmative, and more than one too. Three separate hive clusters had converged on our sector. We were escorting a crippled battlecruiser back to an Ignimozian shipyard when they ambushed us. Zorath made the call to jump early, despite it being a risky endeavour, but at the time it was the only option. The drive took a direct plasma lance to the core right as the warp field formed. Instead of emerging in friendly space, we were shunted into a fractured hyperlane. The ship tumbled for subjective centuries. Objective time... I no longer had an accurate chronometers after the first few decades."

Nier leaned back, staring at the ceiling.

"And when you finally crashed here?"

"Well I came out eventually from open warp storm, that toss me into your star system, I floated for a while till I got coth up in Gaia's gravitational field, thankfully upon crash landing, the hull was mostly intact, but life support had failed completely since the ship was already damage prior to the jump, and sadly Zorath had been dead for a very long time. During the time of his death, I entered a low-power hibernation, and when I wake up again, I found myself on Gaia, but my scanners caught every moment so I knew what happen to me after rebooting, sadly I was stuck in the spot I landed till eventually your mother found me by chance."

"She just... found you just like that..?"

"Yes, or at the time she explain she was drawn to the residual hyperspatial distortion my engines cause. Her kind, still unknown to me at the time, had a variety of general abilities, one such ability that allowed her to sense dimensional scars the way sharks smell blood under water."

"Mom is Magi right?"

"Yeah, in her case she was a Demi-God, and I must say, when I got my first taste of Gaia's magic, it truly shocked me. The phenomenon you humans can pull off with Prana is truly insane, and goes against all scientific phenomena I even knew at the time."

"Wait, you guys didn't know magic existed? And what is Prana!?"

"Well our society was highly scientific in nature, and we didn't have the different magical phenomenon that was common to your planet, just as our technology might seem otherworldly, or beyond understanding to your kind, the use of your so call magic or abilities, hell even a good amount of monsters your planet in the Age of the Gods harbor are all beyond our own current understanding, their is no logic or common sense in your planet lifeform and the versatile uses of your planets main energy at all.

"As for Prana, well it basically what people of old use to call what you now call Gaian energy use to use, although it had many form, ki, chakara, dao, divinity, our source it all fall under that, although universally it was known as Prana."

There was so much information to unpacked here.

"You speak as if you understand it now though."

Nier said to Lisa who confirmed his suspicions.

"Naturally, yes... Your mother had many eons to learn what I am, she could even recreate me if she wanted, well she already did, I have four other younger siblings, but three of them are under Public Service, and the other one was destroyed by her hands."

"Ha, so she learned how to make AI, from studying you, how convenient."

"More than just learn, she used the science of my people alongside her magic to make me a dual computer with extensive knowledge and features of both worlds, there is nothing I can't do with both science and magic."

"I see, that is something I can picture my mom doing indeed, I figured she used you as a weapon, and made you into something truly special when compare to your former self."

"She loves to make things better, your a perfect example of her ways, I am aware of her deal with Lady Kaly, through you and her, she tried to study the illogical energy of the Outer Gods Negativity, a truly mysterious source of power, if magic is nonsense to science then Negativity is nonsense to Magic and Science, the few feats I have seen capable of those who posses it can only be described as something utterly transcendent from a third party point of view, and it outclasses all ideology of energy itself."

"Well I can't really explain Negativity to you, it is indeed illogical, and put it simply it like creating anything you want with your mind, it is truly a law breaking power."

Nier said as he extended his hands outwards.

In it, a dark flame manifest.

"I take it that is Unlimited!?"

"So you have heard about this ability too?"

"Apart from you always talking about it in the house, yes, your mother also already knew what power you would be receiving from Kaly when the time was right. From what little I know of it as well, is the fact that it allows you to create any occult magic you can imagine on the spot, while also giving you free reign on how the logic of your magic work for as long as you have the Negativity needed to both create and cast of course."

"In a nutshell yeah."

Nier confirmed, as he then asked.

"So tell me, do you even know what Negativity is?"

"In theory yes I do, in practice to a degree I myself can use it, however how negative or corrupt emotions or actions can be a viable power source that can disobey the fundamentalism of reality is beyond me."

"I understand what is given my own nature, but there exist no word on this planet of existence that give logic to the illogical, outer gods or anyone that has access to this power in it purest form can be seen as parasites of the natural order even the magic system behind it is illogical to point it can only be countered by another illogical magic spell."

"Admission Magic is the magic of the Outer Gods am I right?"

"Yes you are...when compare to immutable magic of the universe, as the magic you came to know on earth, admission magic is utterly superior as it can easily overwhelmed magic with logic behind it's core for example."

Nier said as he began to cast spell.

Ink for the ruin came from his blood as weird series of red ruin manifest, combining into one until a familiar womb crest in shape manifest before Nier and Lisa eyes.

"For example if I use this spell on a woman I can bind them to me and control there emotions, and body, making them pregnant or horny, or even heightening their desire according to my will, this is a basic Fertility spell under the Dark Mother's Admission Magic."

"Fascinating, out of curiosity could that spell work on a being without a soul."

"Yeah, it is illogical in nature after all, so it could work even on things that are not truly alive, if I wanted I make a golem girl pregnant or horny despite just nothing but rock and inorganic materials."

"How fascinating."

Lisa said to Nier, taken aback at the power her master currently has at hand.

But beyond that, Nier sighed, as he spoke his mind.

"Well me aside Lisa, I also want to know more about you, and with time I know I will, however for now, I unlocked all your features since my mom advised me to do so, but my main reason I come to you now is because I have a question."

Nier said and asked, to which Lisa responded back to him with.

"I am aware, is it about your mother?"

"Yes... I want to know the truth, did my mom really kill herself, and if so, why? As much as Yandere she was for the old man, I know he was always her first priority, so the act of double suicide didn't sit well it me, and as much of a cunt she was in life, me and her still had unfinished business between us. It was already hard to get along with her due to her shitty personality, and she also didn't tell me much of her own problems she face in life, so I am left in the dark on how she actually died, was she perhaps murdered?"

Nier finally asked the question, now all that was left was for Lisa to give him the answers he wanted.

But it what she said next that take him by surprise.

"...I didn't want your mind to wonder, but I will answer, to tell you the truth, your mother indeed killed herself, right after she killed your father first, and the reason for this was because she was being chase down by someone. That person wanted something from her, and she found him a hard opponent, in attempts to flee and protect whatever she was protecting, she killed your father and harvest his soul and placed it in the journal, right after, to ensure that person could not search her soul in death, she anchored it to the planet, and use a reincarnation spell, while also splitting her soul into seven desires in accordance to the deadly sins, each fragment, either reincarnated into different or new body, or had taken over the body of another."

"What!?"

Nier replied, shocked by the revelation he had just heard.
