Chapter 284: - Symbiotic Armor

"The golem is Tier 5," Freya said. "This means it has the full set of functionalities. First, its primary weapon is the greatsword." She pointed towards the colossal blade that nearly matched the height of the golem itself.

Broken nodded, his eyes tracing the length of the greatsword, marveling at its impressive size and menacing presence.

But there was still one thing that made Broken curious: was the weapon truly just a normal weapon, or could it be used by others?

He approached the golem and reached out to touch the blade.

"What are you doing?" Freya asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Checking the greatsword," he said simply.

After checking, he confirmed that it was indeed a normal weapon, but with high physical attack stats, strength, and constitution values. It had no additional skills attached.

"That greatsword is actually deconstructed from its overall body form," Freya explained. "It will reconstruct itself if it gets damaged. That's the cool thing about it."

"Understood," Broken replied, nodding thoughtfully.

Freya then continued. "The golem also boasts superior armor. You can rely on it to withstand prolonged battles, as the armor adds significant sturdiness compared to other golems that only rely on their bare bodies."

"Yes," Broken nodded. "The armor seems pretty cool too."

Pausing for a moment, she then added, "But, considering this golem is Tier 5, it has the ability to reconstruct the damaged body parts. However, this isn't without its downsides."

"And what are those consequences?"

"The golem core will be consumed continuously until it runs out of power," Freya explained. "Once depleted, you'll need a fresh golem core to keep it operational."

Broken nodded thoughtfully. He only had three golem cores in his possession.

"If you plan on using this golem frequently and intensively, you'll need to figure out a way to acquire more golem cores quickly," Freya advised.

"Can I buy them, Freya?"

"I'm sure you can," she replied. "But considering the power level of this golem, it might be useless to purchase cores at an auction. Most of the ones available there are of a lower tier and likely won't provide adequate power for your golem. You'll need to find a high-level golem creator or, as a last resort, make them yourself."

Broken nodded again, contemplating his options. He did have a ticket from King Elandorr's quest that could potentially earn him a golem class, opening another avenue to create what he needed.

But he hesitated to use the ticket just yet. He wanted to maximize everything he already possessed before considering any new acquisitions.

Gaining a new class would mean additional time and effort to master it, whereas his blacksmith class still held vast potential. He needed to forge a few more Legendary-grade items before he could upgrade his class to a Legendary-grade blacksmith. Until that goal was achieved, he decided to put off any plans to acquire new classes or significant changes.

ally in battle.

The third skill, Abyssal Scorpion Tail, caught his attention. The golem could grow a scorpion tail and use it in combat, injecting a deadly poison.

The scorpion tail was clearly connected to the Monster Soul Stone he had used from the Scorched Scorpion, manifesting in this powerful form. Quite satisfying, indeed.

With this, the golem had a plethora of offensive options. It could fight with the greatsword while using the shadow tendrils to disrupt and ensnare nearby enemies. Additionally, it had

the scorpion tail for quick, venomous strikes.

It really was a deadly golem!

And the last skill seemed to be the realization of its Tier 5 upgrade: the golem could allow someone to enter its body and combine their strength and skills. Essentially, the golem could be piloted like a giant robot, controlled from within. Broken was intrigued and eager to try it -out.

"Now you can become Golem Man with this skill, Broken," Freya said with a chuckle. Broken laughed softly. "I think this golem is too perfect for my first one," he said, giggling.

"You could always write a complaint letter and send it to your sugar mommy," she teased,

chuckling.

"Ah, Goddess Akidia. It's been a while since I've gotten an email from her," he murmured

quietly.

He grinned and commanded the golem to activate its fourth skill. The chest of the golem opened up, revealing an interior space. Without hesitation, Broken leaped inside and positioned himself in what looked like the interior of a capsule device. Once he settled in, the

armor closed around him.

[Activating Symbiotic Armor. You can now move and utilize the full senses of the Blackthorn - Shadowbark Titan.]

As the notification appeared, Broken suddenly felt a significant shift in his perspective, towering above everything. From his new vantage point, Freya appeared tiny before him.

"Hi, Freya," he rumbled. His voice, now deep and resonant, echoed like that of a colossal

gorilla.

Freya couldn't help but laugh. "This is so weird," she said, amused.

Broken bent down, reaching out to pick up Freya's small frame, which he could easily hold in

one hand. She laughed even harder, playfully slapping at his massive hand. "What are you doing, Broken? Be more gentle, okay!"

He gently placed Freya on the golem's shoulder. "Let's go. Free ride to Slumdon Town," he announced, starting to move with the giant golem's body.
