Chapter 752: Chapter 752 - Glory or Duty

Broken sat quietly in his room, reviewing the items on his backlog. His focus lingered on the upcoming journey to the West Continent. It was a route that was well-traveled, connecting the South and West Continents in a way that made it one of the more straightforward trips. However, the real challenge awaited him once he reached the West Continent. His ultimate goal was a much longer trek-to the location where he suspected he might finally find Ivana.

For now, Aego, the golem ship, would remain under the care of the Vensalor Outriders, ready to support their next journey alongside SexyGrill. Her main quest to locate the floating island was also an immense undertaking that would require time and resources. Both missions were shaping up to be monumental in scope.

Broken leaned back in his chair, his mind turning over the details. What else would he need for this long journey? Another golem? A larger team?

For now, he planned to travel alone. With Goldrich and the others staying behind at the port city as a contingency, it seemed more efficient to go solo for this leg of the trip. Besides, having backup stationed nearby meant he could call on them only if absolutely necessary.

Still, navigating the West Continent brought its own unique challenges. He had the option of working with SexyGrill and her guild, who already had a strong base of operations in the region. Their resources and knowledge of the area could be invaluable.

Well, that settles it, Broken thought to himself. Everything seemed clear now. The plan was in place-he just had to take the first step.

Next, the Eternal Challenge.

Broken paused, his eyes lingering on the entry in his backlog.

The competition was almost here- or more accurately, it was here. In just two days, the first contests would begin, and only now did he realize how much he had overlooked this massive event.

His mind immediately turned to the team contests. The one his team had chosen was Raid Race, a competition where teams raced to conquer a dungeon filled with puzzles, monsters, and a challenging raid boss at the end. It wasn't just about speed but also strategy, teamwork, and efficiency.

Then there was the Team Battle, a tournament where entire teams faced off against each other in a battle of wits, coordination, and raw strength.

Broken exhaled heavily.

Goldrich had repeatedly assured him that he didn't need to stress about the competition. "Leave it to me," Goldrich had said more than once, confidently taking the reins of preparation.

But even so, Broken couldn't shake the feeling that this was something he should be more involved in. After all, it was still his team, his responsibility.

Yet... he couldn't deny the bigger picture.

If he dedicated too much of his attention to the Eternal Challenge, his personal mission-to find Ivana―would be delayed significantly. Time in Yunatea ran three times faster than in the real world, and every hour spent outside the game could mean days lost to his search.

Broken drummed his fingers on the table, contemplating his next move.

With the situation as it was, the only feasible path was to allocate his time wisely. He would participate in the contests he'd committed to, but he couldn't afford to attend the other events or side activities surrounding the competition. They would consume too much of his already limited time.

Even when Broken and Frostedge teamed up against Galactron, the two of them had failed to

defeat him.

No... not exactly failed. Galactron had escaped before they could finish him off, slipping away just when victory seemed within reach.

In the official event, surely Galactron wouldn't be able to do it.

And there was always the looming possibility of another Divine Champion showing up in this competition. With so many powerful players vying for glory, the Solo Battle Tournament promised to be nothing short of extraordinary.

This was shaping up to be a moment of epic proportions, a stage where the strongest clashed. Broken couldn't wait to see how far he could go-and who he would face along the way.

Leon opened his eyes and stepped out of the capsule device. He stretched his stiff muscles, his body craving movement, making him want to sprint or do something to shake off the tension. Just as he was about to act on that thought, Lily appeared at the doorway, her expression

hurried.

"Leon..." she called out.

"Yes?"

"Someone's waiting for you."

"Someone?"

"Yes... don't tell me you forgot you made an appointment with someone. They've been waiting for two hours downstairs in the café."

"An appointment?" Leon frowned, trying to recall. "Who did I make an appointment with?"

Without wasting any more time, he stepped out of the room and headed down to the café in the lounge area. As he entered, his eyes immediately landed on a large man dressed in a casual shirt, seated calmly at one of the tables.

The moment Leon approached, the man stood up, his broad frame making him hard to miss.

"Hi, King," the man said with a grin.

"Hi, too, King," Leon replied, cracking a smile.
