Chapter 147: A Power Vastly Beyond
Chapter 147: A Power Vastly Beyond
"Fallen Vortex Slash..."
As the dark katana slashed through the air, an eerie stillness followed, a dreadful silence that seemed to crush reality itself.
The space before Sir Kieran’s sword quivered like a fragile glass pane under pressure, black veins suddenly spiralling from the slash’s origin, rapidly spreading outward toward the beam of exploding dark energy waves, swimming toward the ship.
And when they finally met—
SHATTTTTTTTERRRR.
The fabric of reality gave way, fracturing into a domain of crystalline cracks.
Shards of shimmering nothingness spiralled outward, as a gaping void beyond—an abyss that seemed to hunger for existence itself—pulled in all the approaching dark pillar beams, swallowing them completely, before the cracks quickly mended themselves.
In little less than an instant, all the approaching beams of dark pillar energy, which seemed more than sure to blow the ship apart into nothingness, were instantly swallowed up by the gaping vortex formed from Sir Kieran’s slash.
But the Calamitous Crow horde weren’t phased as they flew forward faster, their beaks opening, and another piece of energy beam gathering.
However, Sir Kieran too was no longer on the ship.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Dark blood, feathers, and body parts suddenly rippled outwards with incredible force, blowing backward and slamming into the aerial beasts behind, stopping their motion.
But they only paused for a while before another hundred crows suffered the same fate as the ones in front.
"Fallen Void Cleave..."
The name only rang out a few seconds later, as Sir Kieran appeared into the advancing Calamitous Crow horde, his long katana cleaving through them like a knife through butter.
Dark blood slashed into the air and all over Sir Kieran’s face, yet it was like the man had become a demon, ignoring the blood slash as his grin widened through the blood bath.
His wings flapped once, and he tore through the crowds of crows, rain and blood exploding forth wherever he passed.
Hundreds of sword slashes laced through the air—the only thing the crows could see before they were all cleaved into nothing, their dead bodies raining from the sky.
"CAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWW!!"
He looked at it numbly, dark veins bulging all over his face.
"Just like I guessed. Are you seeing it now? The deep evil you have committed? The fate of your disgusting darkness devouring you from within?" The crow said as if feasting on Sir Kieran’s despair, as Sir Kieran’s pitch-black eyes stared into the crow’s own dark eyes, before turning away and looking at the moon shining on the dark crow itself.
The cold, dark abyssal-like moon.
"What evil sin have I committed?" Sir Kieran’s gentle voice, one filled no longer with humour or calmness, echoed through the entire domain.
"What do you know of Sin to judge me by the curse of darkness from within?" Sir Kieran asked, as the crow’s eyes flashed with pitch-black light.
Right now, it could see a strange shadow suddenly pop up from behind Sir Kieran’s feet, slowly rising up until it towered at ten meters in height, a katana lying in its left arm.
"You!"
"You’re the one!"
"The one who stole that skill!"
"Your stupid action led to the deaths of millions of Endearths, and some of my beast species were completely wiped out of the world for your stupid action."
"You were the one who worsened that war!"
"DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
The Calamitous Beast’s angered roar filled the entire space as its aura multiplied crazily.
An intense bellowing rage surged through the entire domain space, an intense red glow bursting from its eyes.
Its humongous body soared toward Sir Kieran, its gigantic claws grabbing the space around him, crumbling it into pieces.
Its gigantic beak opened up as a pillar of turbulent dark energy emanated from its peak.
The attacks alone were enough to shatter the space, unleashing an apocalyptic black hole that swallowed up Sir Kieran’s figure.
"What do you know of Sin to wish me death for mine?"
"Dark Expansion!!!"
