Chapter 188: Retame Isha!?

"Re...retame Isha?" Ryuk asked in confusion, but his face changed in the next second when a tiny, narrow slit appeared in Isha’s eyes, flaring with a crimson light.

A powerful roar shook the entire living room, booming through the area, sending the sofas flying into the walls, and in the next instant—

Then, the wall’s glass shattered into pieces as a figure smashed through it, soaring away erratically into the air before slamming into another building structure, tearing through the glass and disappearing within.

Blood splashed into the air as Isha dangled its claw to the side, flicking off the red blood, and then—

The sound of its wings beating heavily resounded as it floated a few centimeters above the ground, and then—

The air pressure shot backward instantly as Isha tore through the open glass, ripping apart the entire structure and following rapidly after Ryuk’s figure, its predatory aura vastly increasing.

"What... what the hell is going on...?" was Ryuk’s thought as he felt a monumental force slam into his head, ripping apart a chunk of flesh.

Before he knew it, he had smashed through two layers of glass and was now in another structure, unable to stop himself from continuously slamming through walls. Soon, he crashed through the last wall, shooting out of the building and disappearing once more into the air.

ROOOOOOOOOOOAAAARRRR

A powerful roar surged toward Ryuk like a tsunami. He barely sighted the humongous snow-clad figure rushing toward him before another gigantic swipe was taken at him. Instantly, Ryuk crossed his hands into an ’X’ shape—

But suddenly—

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

An inhumane laughter rang out, coming from none other than the ice chasm in the ground beneath Isha.

The icy aura suddenly began shattering into pieces, and a figure slowly stepped out of the chasm.

Isha’s roar of dominance stopped as its predatory gaze stared at the figure, which was none other than Ryuk—who had the biggest smile on his face.

"Oh,my little Isha... I never thought you capable of such ferocity," Ryuk stated as he walked out of the chasm, twisting his back and neck once and fixing his shoulders back into their angles as he came out fully.

His shirt had been torn off from the power of Isha’s frost breath attack, but right now, he had not a single wound on him, with the various cuts on his face having completely cleared.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP

In the next instant, the entire air was sliced apart as Isha’s claw slapped out toward Ryuk’s head with power. A sonic boom erupted forth, but then—

CLLLLLAAAAP

The sound of a loud clap rang throughout, but it was no ordinary clap. Another round of shockwaves rippled through the sky, and the instructors—along with the top ten students, who had managed to arrive first—watched as Ryuk’s hand clapped into Isha’s claw, both of them bulging their hands to an uncontrollable level.

"You’ve grown stronger than me, Isha..." Ryuk stated as he felt his hand losing out in the contest of strength.

Isha soon slammed out its second limb, but Ryuk clapped onto it again, stopping it dead in its tracks—but not for long.

Isha began exerting its body weight and pressed onto Ryuk, causing the ground beneath him to shatter into pieces as Ryuk’s knees began buckling from the unbearable might running amok within him.

"Isha’s strength... it’s thrice as much as mine...?" Ryuk’s mind analyzed as a prideful smile appeared on his face.

Then, he raised his head to stare into Isha’s eyes.

"But still... I’m your King!"
