"Are you really not going to hand them these supplies, boss?" While Xie Yi was worried about getting his hands on the supplies, Lao Shen had already decided that he was not going to deliver even a single blanket to Xie Yi or his men.
Hearing the question of one of his men, Lao Shen snorted and stated, "Do you really think that we have enough supplies to work honestly? We are thirty grown men with nothing in hand at the moment. If we give away these supplies, what will we eat or drink? Do you think that after handing these weapons to Boss Zhou, he will hand us anything good?"
A rush of anger made Lao Shen furious and he spat on the ground.
"That fucking bastard," Lao Shen cursed as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Even if we handed him the entire stock of weapons, he would only give us a few boxes of supplies and send us on our way."
"Can we survive on those little supplies? We might as well keep these things with us and then sell them to others in exchange for food and water. At least that way we will have a chance to survive."@@@@
Because of the tsunami, they only had little to no supplies left in their hands. Fortunately, the tsunami didn’t crash right against the shore of their city or else they would be the first to die.
"Then what about Boss Xie?" His right-hand man asked. "They won’t stay quiet if we refuse to hand them supplies."
"When did I say that we will be refusing to hand him the supplies?" Lao Shen asked with a sneer. "We will just keep dragging the matter; let the two of them stand there for the rest of the evening. Anyway, as long as the sky turns dark, those things will start popping again and they will take care of Boss Xie and that other man."
This was what Lao Shen had noticed after keeping vigil for the entire night.
Though they did not know how someone was able to kill these many men without making a sound, they were smart enough to sense that it had something to do with Xie Yi and Xiao Wu. After all, why were those two men alright and their men were on the ground, including Lao Shen?
However, as soon as the men moved, Bai Meiyue, who was hiding in the dark moved forward and used the remaining water essence to create a large water scythe and sliced their bodies in half.
The men who didn’t anticipate such a thing to happen fell on the ground one after another. Their lower bodies were still moving as if not used to being detached from their upper halves; it was only after the muscle memories faded that those moving legs fell on the ground.
Once she was done dealing with the situation, Bai Meiyue looked around the warehouse carefully. It was only when she saw that everyone had been taken care of that she dealt with the extra boxes of goods by keeping them in her space pocket; as for the rest, she didn’t touch them.
"Come on in," Bai Meiyue opened the door of the warehouse and ushered the two men standing outside the warehouse with her hands.
Xie Yi had been nervously waiting outside. The darker the sky became, the more nervous he became. Fortunately, Bai Meiyue opened the doors of the warehouse and called him in.
But as soon as he stepped inside the warehouse with Xiao Wu, he was so shocked that his entire face turned stiff. Because the floor of the warehouse was covered in blood!
Terrifying!
This woman was really a terrifying monster; she actually killed these many men without leaving even one of them intact. Fortunately, he was smart enough to suck up to her and didn’t go against her.
