Chapter 149 Kyle Meets Lucas.
Kyle wasn't intimidated by the man before him because he could have him fired with a single call.
Kyle held that power and the man before him had no idea who he was talking to either but there was no doubt that his tone would change the moment he did.
There was no fun in that and Kyle didn't want to introduce himself just yet because he wanted to see what kind of man Lucas was.
"Say Lucas, what do you do when you aren't here?" Kyle questioned, looking around his office.
He could faintly whiff of the lady who tried to stop him.
It was coming from the desk in front of him and Kyle understood that the woman he had seen was placed across this table.
"Apart from fucking your assistant that is," Kyle pointed out and Lucas recoiled from this information.
"What are you talking about?" Lucas tried to feign ignorance but Kyle only smiled.
"It is fine. I can't blame nor am I judging you," Kyle pointed out.
But before the conversation could proceed, security rushed into the room and tried to reach Kyle.
"I see. I can't blame you all because you're only doing your job, but what if you no longer have a job?" Kyle suggested, which caused them to doubt themselves and stop themselves from grabbing him.
"That is good, I know you're all wondering who I am so how about I introduce myself? I go by the name Kyle and am the owner of JPD Agency. That makes me your superior," Kyle muttered and everyone's body language immediately stiffened.
"Hahaha! Don't worry, no one is in trouble," Kyle laughed it off because he had the power to sack everyone in this room.
The security men immediately backed away and glared at the woman who brought them there.
They could tell by her eyes that she didn't know who he was but she was the one that dragged them into this mess.
Lucas cleared his throat and responded, he knew this wasn't the time to uphold his ego.
"I didn't think it through, I apologize for my arrogance," Lucas apologized but Kyle wasn't here to humiliate him.
That wasn't his intention but the audacity he had to want to attempt that, Kyle knew he had to give him a reality check because he had clearly forgotten his place.
"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" Kyle responded, finally taking his feet off the table.
He was sure that with this, Lucas wouldn't attempt to do what he tried with Calista with any of the potential actresses he would work with from the JPD agency.
This wasn't just about Calista but setting firm boundaries even though there were multiple ways he could get this done without coming here personally.
But Kyle wanted to see the man for himself, the man who dared to tell Calista to get naked on camera.
And that was the end of their little interaction.

Calista was surprised that the security returned to their posts without retrieving him.
But she could also see the fear in their eyes like they feared for their job.
She had no idea what was going on but understood that this wasn't normal behaviour.
And if Kyle wasn't here yet then he had managed to get Lucas' attention; something she didn't think would happen.
It took a few solid minutes for Kyle to step out with Lucas accompanying him.
This was the first time she saw Lucas give anyone this much attention but why did he look so small compared to Kyle?
It was almost like he shrunk himself but this was a subconscious thing because Lucas was walking with a superior and there was no way he was going to walk with his chest out. This was why his body took on a submissive stance– something Lucas wasn't even aware of.
