Chapter 269 ROAD TO GOAT II
Chapter 269 ROAD TO GOAT II
There were even more specific tasks, some of which were challenges he hadn't even thought of.
Most Knockouts in History: Pending
Fastest Submission Victory: Pending
Highest Ranked Opponent Defeated: Pending
Damon smirked, shaking his head. "Looks like I've got a lot of work to do."
Then his gaze shifted to his Nickname line: (Please Insert).
"Guess i should come up with that, or let the fans decide.'"
The enormity of the task ahead was clear, but so was the opportunity.
Everything he did now will affect his legacy.
He closed the screen, his grin never fading.
He took a deep breath and leaned back on his bed as he looked at the system's screen for a little while longer.
"Alright," he muttered. "Time to prepare for my leave."
There was no denying how exciting the new features were, but he knew he'd have plenty of time to learn more about them later.
Right now, there was work to be done, a balance to be struck between the lessons he'd learned in Thailand and the disciplines he'd neglected during his stay.
He grinned at the thought of testing his new wrestling skills in the simulation.
In his mind, Wichan's voice kept going over and over, reminding him to move in a way that feels normal and like him.
He would use those ideas as a base to improve his Jiu-Jitsu and make it fit in with his wrestling.
As soon as he started the simulation, the familiar blue glow enveloped him, and the scene changed to look like a well-equipped gym with a wrestling mat.
A figure materialized, it was Balim Chemasov, obviously. Damon had chosen him for a reason.
Among middleweight wrestlers, Balim was the pinnacle, a relentless grappler with a style that crushed opponents' spirits and bodies alike.
Damon respected him deeply, not only for his skills but for his sheer dominance in the cage.
But Balim wasn't the only one Damon had in mind. He wanted to add a few more fighters known for their wrestling prowess.
Two names stood out to him immediately in light heavyweight and heavyweight, fighters whose wrestling techniques he admired.
Yet, he held off on obtaining their tapes for now.
The moment Balim put his weight on Damon, his senses took over.
He put his hands on Balim's shoulders, which gave him just enough room to move his hips.
He slid his legs free from Balim's attempt to mount him using a shrimping move.
Balim smiled, showing that he wasn't upset, and quickly switched to side control, which locked Damon down again.
Damon felt the crushing weight of Balim's body pressing into him, but he stayed calm, focusing on his breathing.

He used his free arm to frame against Balim's neck, applying pressure to create a small gap between them.
With a quick pivot of his hips, Damon brought his legs around, attempting to reclaim guard.
Balim countered, pinning Damon's left leg with his knee and locking down his mobility.
"Not bad," Balim's simulated voice rumbled, his tone carrying both respect and challenge.
Damon didn't waste time responding. Instead, he focused on his next move. With his trapped leg immobilized, he used his free leg to push off the mat, twisting his body to the side.
The sudden shift in momentum forced Balim to adjust his position, giving Damon the opportunity to underhook one of Balim's arms.
Seizing the chance, Damon shifted his weight and turned into Balim, attempting to reverse the position.
Balim's sheer strength made it a struggle, but Damon refused to relent. He latched onto the underhook tighter, using his leverage to force Balim into a scramble.
The two fighters rolled across the mat, Damon's agility allowing him to slip out from under Balim's dominant position.
For a brief moment, Damon managed to get to his knees, his arms locked in a defensive posture to avoid another takedown.
Balim grinned, standing tall with his hands low, clearly relishing the challenge, breathing hard.
Damon took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling as he assessed the situation.
His escape had cost him a lot of energy, but he was still in the fight.
And he also knew, Chemasov had low stamina.
In the real world Damon had large amounts of stamina, but when he entered he adjusted it to lower it.
Otherwise he would have continued.
He did this to learn how to control his energy. Even though he had a lot of it, he didn't want to waste it by fighting disastrously.
If he could learn to save it and keep his moves under control, that would be fine.
