Chapter 356 Given their part

Nessa sat down on the bed, and the demon along with the fox and the wolf looked at her as she wiped her eyes and sighed.

The fox tapped her on her knee and she looked at the creature then smiled before she began explaining what they should both do and the demon listened to part of it and his eyes narrowed when he sensed something else and he got up.

Nessa looked at him and he went into the balcony then she shrugged and continued talking to the fox and wolf, explaining in detail what their jobs were and how to do it without being seen by anyone or anything.

A few minutes after she finished talking to them her eyes glowed blue and she stood up then placed her hand on both of their backs and one magic circle appeared on each of them and their eyes shimmered.

"Well, you guys are ready to do what I told you to, this job is important, there is a lot at risk so I need you to be careful and do it properly, pay attention, can you do that?" She asked and both of them bowed to her.

"Yes, we can and we understand everything, don't worry, we will do our jobs perfectly," The fox responded.

"We won't let you down and we won't slack off," The wolf said and after hearing that Nessa smiled then patted them on their heads.

"Good, I will keep an eye on things as well, I wish good luck to both of you, check in from time to time, especially if you find something isn't right," She replied and they nodded then thanked her and both of them disappeared then she exhaled deeply since part of what she wanted to do was already in place.

"I am hungry again, damn it..." Nessa mumbled as she looked around and realized that the demon left the room a while back and she peeked into the balcony and saw that he was standing in the balcony and her eyes narrowed.

Nessa went into the balcony and she braced herself against the rail and looked at him as he was lost in his thoughts and she scoffed then he glanced at her.

"Finished giving them their jobs?" He asked.

"Oh, so you are paying attention after all," She responded and he scoffed.

"I hardly lose my focus, that's not something you should worry about," He said.

"In a way, I guess," She responded.

"I see, well, he is friendly with almost anyone, he is a good person," He said and she nodded.

"Yeah, he is, he even invited me for the choosing, I didn't expect that, I was only for here for a little break, a sort of vacation," She replied.

"I see, he is like that, if you don't mind me asking, are you a royal as well?" He asked and she smiled at him.

"No, I am not a royal," She responded.

"Oh? Then..." He said when someone tapped Nessa on her shoulder and she turned and saw that it was Mikala and the girl smiled at her.

"Hello," The girl said and Nessa smiled at her.

"Your Highness," Nessa replied.

"You are a guest of my father's you can just call me Mikala," She said.

"Are you sure?" Nessa asked as Kace looked at them.

"Yes, I am sure, also, if you don't mind, can I talk to you for a few minutes?" She asked then looked at Kace and he smiled at her.

"I have things to do so, you guys can go ahead, excise me," He responded then they smiled at him and he bowed his head then left and Nessa's eyes narrowed.

'Well, questions were expected, I just have to rattle the cage a little, if one of them or someone else is really up to something as well, we might be able to find out and this will help with the choosing as well, maybe even show some different sides, possibilities are many,' She thought.

"Can you come with me?" Mikala asked and Nessa nodded then the girl walked away and Nessa went with her.
