Nessa looked at the time after she shook the girl's hands and she saw that it was going to be night soon and she sighed as she looked around, wondering where the demon went since she knew she had not seen him for quite a while.
"Well, so we will start practice tomorrow?" Mikala asked and Nessa glanced at her and the knight smiled.
"Yeah, we will start tomorrow, whenever you have free time and so do I, you can come to me and I will start you off, will Zack be joining us as well?" Nessa asked and Zack looked at her.
"Got it, I will come to you if we both are free and I don't know," Mikala responded as she glanced at Zack and he smiled at her.
"Well, it depends on what time you guys start, you can check in with me and if I am free at the time, I might be able to join you, that's the only way since things have been quite hectic around here, lately," He said and Mikala sighed before lowering her head and Zack's brows furrowed as he looked at her.
'What's bothering her?' Nessa wondered as she looked at the princess and then sighed, knowing that she can't get too involved but it also depended on what may happen and how she may need to act at the time.
"You okay?" Zack asked.
"Yeah, I am just a bit worried about the council, but the others will handle it, right?" She asked.
"The council huh?" Nessa mumbled as Kurson came to her mind and her brows furrowed.
'I hope he has not caught any attention, I still need to talk to him about what he is doing as well as all of this but I am going to have to wait, I want to know what he is thinking, why he is even doing this while being in a risky job, he could be playing with fire, also there is so much more that I need to know as well, about everything,' Nessa thought and Mikala looked at her then tapped her on her shoulder and Nessa glanced at the girl.
"What is it?" Nessa asked.
'A certain demon is missing? Where did he go?' Nessa wondered then she sighed then left to go to her room.
After a few minutes of walking, Nessa went to her room and she closed her door behind her then grabbed her clothes and went to freshen up, with the intention of going out for dinner since she wanted to see a bit of the city at night as well and had nothing else to do.
A little while after, when Nessa finished freshening up, she got dressed then exited the bathroom and began combing her hair but, while doing that, she felt a presence and out of nowhere a shadow appeared not far behind her.
Nessa's eyes narrowed and when the person appeared she moved fast and grabbed him by his arm then flicked him over and the person landed on his feet then her eyes narrowed and she rushed towards him and was about to hit him but he pulled back and her eyes began glowing orange.
Nessa appeared behind him with a blue energy forming around her fingers like a snake and at the same time, he turned around and his brows furrowed as she was about to grab him.
"Lady Nessa," He said as he held onto her hand before she could do anything and her brows furrowed since she recognized the person.
"Relax a bit, it's just me..." He said and she exhaled deeply as she looked at him.
"You need to stop showing up like that especially since you are always wearing a hood and your presence is, ugh... Hey, do you have a death wish or something?" She asked and he chuckled as the blue energy from her fingers touched his hand and her eyes narrowed.
"I don't have a death wish and I am working on that, I don't want to get scorched by you," He responded and she scoffed.
"For some reason, I doubt that would have been enough to scorch you," She said and he scoffed as she moved away from him.
The blue glow disappeared and just then, Nessa felt the same presence she did when she had arrived at the castle and her eyes narrowed.
