"Ah! Sister-in-law just twisted her ankle by accident while drinking water and spilled it all over herself, so Li Chen said he could help set the bone and pressed on it for me. Just then, you happened to come back."
Shen Mengxue looked somewhat tense.
She stepped past Han Yue and walked over to the yoga mat first.
She shot Li Chen a glare with those lovely eyes.
The two of them were supposed to work together, but Li Chen stayed put, not moving an inch.
If they got caught, how could she, the sister-in-law who stole her sister-in-law’s boyfriend, face anyone?
"Right, sister-in-law just twisted it earlier. You know, I have some traditional Chinese medicine massage techniques, so I was just helping her out."
"By the way, isn’t it a bit early to be off work? Why are you back? Are you not feeling well?"
Li Chen hadn’t expected that the person who came back would be his girlfriend.
He hurriedly got up to help Shen Mengxue put away the yoga mat and walked over to Han Yue, showing concern.
"The hospital has arranged for me to go to Kyoto for further training. I came back to say hello and to pack some stuff!"
"Weren’t you just recently started your internship? How did they let you go?"
It was rare for the hospital to offer further training opportunities to interns, and Li Chen was a bit puzzled.
"I’m not entirely sure either. All three spots this time went to interns; they said it was a last-minute change and asked us to head there today."
"How long will you be gone?"
Shen Mengxue followed up with a question. After she spoke, she and Li Chen inadvertently exchanged glances, then quickly looked away.
A strange, indescribable feeling spread in their hearts.
"I’m afraid it might be two or three months!" Han Yue sounded obviously in a hurry, and tugging at Li Chen’s hand, she quickly stepped into the bedroom, "Sister-in-law, I’m going to pack now."
As she packed, Li Chen watched his girlfriend’s slender curve from behind, and the unvented lust surged up again.

With that thought, his stiff lower body felt even more uncomfortable.
"Sister-in-law, I’m in a rush, so I have to go now."
"During this time, Li Chen will continue to stay at our place, so keep an eye on him for me, and don’t let him cheat on me outside."
Shen Mengxue had put away the yoga mat and returned to the living room.
Hearing Han Yue’s instructions, she froze for a second, then smiled, "Li Chen loves you so much, he wouldn’t cheat on you. Just take care of yourself while you’re out."
After speaking, she felt that odd sensation again.
