Chapter 69: Chapter 69 Jiang Yan’s Fans

Jiang Yan was about to get up and return to Space when she saw several figures appear on the surveillance screen at her door.

She lifted her hand and switched the monitor to single-pane mode.

The loving young couple from 3204 appeared on the screen.

Both were panting and red in the face, visibly more than just tired.

Beside them, there was a pile of supplies, which looked like water and instant noodles.

Further back in the monitor’s view, there stood a teenager in black clothing, over six feet tall, who was the one who had volunteered earlier in the homeowner’s group chat to retrieve a girl’s suitcase for her.

The young man was not with the couple, but stood alone, frowning at the open door of 3202, as if pondering life through the window?

Tian Jiliang had intended to come up as well, but unfortunately, during a forced entry at the 17th floor, his wire-rimmed glasses were smashed by a cudgel.

Being severely nearsighted, he had no choice but to return home first.

The couple at the door, holding a loudspeaker with low battery, shouted,

“Miss Jiang!”

“Miss Jiang, we’ve brought you supplies.”

The loudspeaker had probably been used by He Chunmei before.@@@@

Jiang Yan had not interacted much with Sun Jingtao and Su Dai earlier.

But judging by their appearances and behavior, they didn’t seem like bad people.

Additionally, the man’s performance in the morning melee had been quite noteworthy.

Although she could have managed on her own,

having others offer help wasn’t a bad thing.

After quickly analyzing internally, Jiang Yan finally decided to get up.

She first turned off the intrusion prevention system, put on a mask, and then opened the door.

However, she still kept the inner door closed, only opening the main door.

When Su Dai saw Jiang Yan, her eyes lit up, and she excitedly exclaimed, “Miss Jiang!”

Sun Jingtao was relatively more composed, “Miss Jiang.”

Ye Qing, who saw her open the door, was also somewhat surprised.

Seeing her confirmation, Su Dai momentarily froze, then joy quickly followed. She wanted to continue the conversation but was pulled back by Sun Jingtao.

Hungry and tired, Sun Jingtao promptly and concisely explained their visit to Jiang Yan.

Jiang Yan didn’t reject them outright.

After all, she had supplies that could last for lifetimes, but that didn’t mean she had to tell others about it.

The old saying goes: no need for wicked intentions, but one must guard against others.

Sun Jingtao helped her bring the supplies inside, then tried to take their leave with Su Dai, but Jiang Yan stopped them, “Oh, do you have any antibiotics in your house?”

Jiang Yan’s gaze fell on the arm of Sun Jingtao, which had a cut probably reopened while bending to lift the heavy items, as fresh blood began to seep out.

Su Dai replied with a slightly embarrassed expression, “We should have some amoxicillin, bought during the mask period, but it’s probably expired...”

“Wait a moment,” Jiang Yan said, closing the outer door and quickly going back inside.

After closing the inner door, she thought for a moment, took out iodine, a small roll of gauze, a pack of medical cotton swabs, and a box of Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride Capsules from Space.

She poured out some iodine, tore open and took a few cotton swabs, also extracted few capsules, and then dug out a small plastic bag from a drawer in the living room to put them in.

She opened the door and handed the bag to Sun Jingtao:

“I often have painful injuries, so I keep some antibacterial and bandaging medications at home. Take these, don’t get tetanus.”

These items were trivial for her.

But the reason she gave them was a habit she’d developed over the years: she disliked owing others anything.

Honestly, others completely could have not brought those supplies.

But she couldn’t just openly give things away, so she pretended these were just leftovers.

“Thank you, then we won’t disturb you further,” Sun Jingtao said, accepting the items without further comment.

Su Dai, surprised by the medications, still wanted to chat more with Jiang Yan, but Sun Jingtao subtly tugged on her sleeve.

Seeing Jiang Yan close the door, he then relaxed and said, “Let’s go, baby, let’s go home.”

Ye Qing, just coming out from 3202, was about to say goodbye to them, but Sun Jingtao called out to him:

“Xiao Ye, why don’t you move up and live with us? No one on this floor should dare bother us anymore.”

Ye Qing paused, a hint of gratitude appearing in his cold eyes:

“Thank you, Brother Tao. I have a tent on the 24th floor’s corridor; I’ll just live in my tent. Water shouldn’t reach the 24th floor.”

“Xiao Ye, since we know each other well, just come and live with us.” After saying that, Su Dai pursed her lips and continued,

“Besides, we have a spare children’s’ room that’s always empty...”
