540 The Birth of a Lord of the Kingdom (3)
Unlike Ken Wagner's words, which directly targeted the traitors and also called attention to the Vampire Clans, Haton Scháfer was more focused on reminding them of the violation of the pact, which will now make the movements even bigger.
He made it very clear what position the Independent Clans out there could take.
And with all that said, a position of undisputed superiority rose over the side that supported Matthew's consecration.
Even Matthew himself was surprised by this, as he had little knowledge of the Independent Clans.
Still, he looked at King Richter from the side. He knew that this guy was moving against him right now, and as the most powerful King at present, he had enormous status and power.
'Since you want to oppose me, you will die just like all the idiots who have tried it. He who opposes the Dietrich name only wants a curse to fall on himself.' He thought.
Frederick spoke again at that moment.
"With the signature of 3 Vampiric Clans and the undisputed support of an Independent Clan, coupled with the support of the majority of Ministers and Nobles of the Dark Kingdom's current time, the consecration should be done without fail and without encountering setbacks orchestrated by idiots. As it is written: to oppose a consecration sponsored by 3 Vampire Clans is a crime of treason to the race." He looked at King Richter after saying this.
"Would you like to object, Sir Richter?" he asked, smiling slightly.
Richter frowned, but his work was already done. He simply smiled and bowed a little in respect. @@@@
"Do not be confused, Lord Frederick. I have no plans to object. I just thought it was a sign of respect for us as kings to understand all behind the consecration of a Lord of the Kingdom. It was only protocol; please go ahead. I will no longer interrupt the ceremony." Without another word, Richter returned to his place and sat back down, one hand holding his chin.
Frederick scoffed. 'Tsk, instead of trying to get deeper, you decide to back off just out of fear. What a lack of guts.' He thought and turned his eyes to Matthew.
"Young Lord Matthew, please." He said, planning to resume the ceremony, though he was aware that it could not be done.
Instead, Egon spoke up.
'I see. So the ones behind the little Wagner bastard who refused to sign are these bastards.' Frederick thought, somewhat similar to what Gray was thinking.

"The Vampire Clans are necessary for this ceremony but are not the only important thing. Without the signature of 6 Heirs, nothing can proceed. Since Sir Richter already asked you to see the signature of the Clans, how about you also show us the signature of the 6 Heirs?" he asked.
His question caused slight astonishment among the people present, for it was partly meaningless.
If there are 2 Heirs per Clan and 3 Clans to sign, isn't it obvious how many Heirs' signatures they give?
The 2 Heirs of the 3 Clans signed the agreement; why ask the question?
It seemed strange to many and curious to others.
Frederick raised an eyelash after this. "Did age take away your ability to add, Egon?" he asked, amazed.
Egon smiled as if he thought it was funny, but it was a smile that reflected anger.
"Hahaha, I get what you mean, Frederick. Don't think me so stupid, hahaha." He laughed and passed off this little attack of Frederick's as a joke. "I just want to see the signature since we already saw the Clans; I don't think it's bad to see the signature of our boys, right?" he replied, insisting.
'I see. So the ones behind the little Wagner bastard who refused to sign are these bastards.' Frederick thought, somewhat similar to what Gray was thinking.
'So they want to discover all the signatories because they have inside information.' Gray smiled. 'This is good for us, too.' He nodded to Frederick, causing the latter to nod toward Egon.
"Sigh, you're good, Egon. I just hope you don't get upset or regret asking for that. Remember, you asked for it." He replied and immediately pulled out another scroll.
