Chapter 250 Receiving the Blessing of the God of Destiny, Scales of Destiny
Chapter 250 Receiving the Blessing of the God of Destiny, Scales of Destiny
[Tier 7 Advancement Task Rating: SSS.]
[You will receive your reward shortly.]
The notification blinked before Alex's eyes.
It seemed that the reward was the [God Blessing].
And even the system considered it a reward, then it must truly be extraordinary.
"Come on, human," Kaelios grinned, his sharp teeth gleaming.
The [God of Destiny] seemed thrilled. "Everything will become clear as you unlock the blessing."
He clapped his hands together.
Outside the open monument, a massive golden scale descended, landing softly on the grass.
"Step onto one side of the scale," Kaelios ordered, floating over to the opposite platform with ease.
Alex approached cautiously.
The scales were grand, intricately designed, and pulsated with divine energy.
Without hesitation, he jumped onto the platform.
It wasn't that he trusted Kaelios, but he had a deep feeling that, somehow, this god in particular wouldn't try to fuck him over.
Did Alex grow soft? Or was Kaelios different from the others.
"No..." he shook his head, "My hatred for all the others is still there."@@@@
Kaelios smirked. "This might hurt, but I'll be transferring and linking my power to yours."
Alex remained silent, his expression neutral, though his thoughts raced.
If he accepted this bond, their destinies would intertwine.
If Kaelios were to die, Alex would die too.
Power and risk, a perfect balance that was granted to all of those chosen by the gods.
But even then, Alex didn't flinch.
'If it comes to it,' Alex thought coldly, 'I'll eliminate all threats, including him, if necessary.'
He was prepared to do whatever it took.
This wasn't just about survival, it was about ensuring his mission succeeded, no matter the cost.
He would kill everyone in his [Elimination List], including the gods, the hatred sect, the evil races, and all of those who got in his way.
And if Kaelios truly was evil, then he would simply be his final kill.
He would sacrifice himself in the end.
Because by killing the god linked to him, he would die too.
Kaelios snapped his fingers, and a massive glowing panel materialized in the air.
[Initiating God Blessing transfer...]
[This is your final chance, do you want to stop?]
Kaelios looked at Alex with a wide smile.
Alex closed his eyes, the thoughts and memories of his past life all emerging.
He wasn't going to say that he didn't feel a bit of fear at the unknown possibilities, but as he remembered the face of the [God of Darkness].
As well as all the killing that happened, his determination and mind were set.
"Yes, continue," he nodded.
"Ah, there it is. Receiving a blessing tires you out completely. You'll be out for a few days."
With a snap of his fingers, Kaelios summoned a luxurious bed onto the grass.
Using his [Destiny Hands], he lifted Alex and placed him gently on the bed.
"Rest up, FateBreaker. You'll need it."
For two full days, Alex slept.
No dreams. No nightmares. No visions.
Just silence.
A void-like state where his body seemed to be absorbing the newfound power.
Finally, on the third day, his eyes opened.
He blinked, adjusting to the light.
The first thing he noticed was the familiar setting of the [Garden of Destiny].
He was still lying on the bed Kaelios had summoned.
'Figures,' Alex thought, sitting up.
His head throbbed, likely from the intense energy he'd absorbed.
He stood, stretching briefly before making his way toward the monument.
Surprisingly, Kaelios wasn't there.
Instead, a golden message was etched onto the monument's surface:
"I'm heading somewhere. If you wake up, do not test your abilities or read about them. Everything will be explained later."
"Convenient," Alex muttered under his breath.
He was left alone, but that was fine. He preferred it this way.
As he contemplated his next steps, a familiar voice echoed in his mind.
"For your information," Alphox spoke, "it'll take us four days to reach Dragon City. We'll need at least a day because of the [Pre-Selection Temple]. That means we should leave in six days."
"Got it," Alex replied. "That gives me six days to train."
He turned toward the open field of the garden, clenching his fists.
Whatever these abilities were, he needed to master them quickly.
He couldn't afford to waste any time.
And then it happened.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
Seven golden panels appeared before him in rapid succession.

"Here we go," Alex muttered, exhaling sharply.
He was asked to not open his ability's panels, but it seemed like the first two weren't related to them whatsoever.
'This means it's okay, right?' Alex thought, 'Oh well, who cares.'
He died if Kaelios died, but as said before, if Alex ever dies, then the [God of Destiny] would lose half of his powers for 2 weeks.
Many gods and all-powerful beings would take this opportunity the moment they sensed it to eliminate them.
No one was each other's friends in this world.
Regardless, Alex opened the first panel.
