"How is this possible?" Doomsday Supreme was in disbelief. "We are both embodiments of chaos, both on the verge of becoming Master of Chaos and were once regarded as unrivaled Supremes. How can Lin Fei be so much stronger than me?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Though now he claimed to be a step away from becoming a Master of Chaos, Doomsday Supreme was still, in essence, a Supreme—a realm still distantly removed from that of a Master of Chaos. Both he and Lin Fei had merely transformed their physical forms into Bodies of Chaos.
However, during their sparring, Doomsday Supreme felt an unsettling possibility that Lin Fei might actually kill him. This was utterly perplexing and even left him baffled. Could there really be such a vast disparity between two similarly chaotic bodies?
Doomsday Supreme dared not be complacent like Lin Fei. Instead, he unleashed the full force of his Chaos Body in a punch.
"Boom."
His punch collided fiercely with Lin Fei's. Immediately, terrifying forces exploded outward in all directions. Yet, Doomsday Supreme felt an overwhelming power that nearly tore him apart. He managed to neutralize much of it with his punch, but some still struck him squarely.
"Thud."
Doomsday Supreme's body shuddered. He could feel his physical particles, not just one or two but many across a wide area, beginning to annihilate. Yes, annihilate. If his physical particles were destroyed, it would pose a grave threat to him, potentially even a fatal one.
"Stop, Lin Fei, stop!" Doomsday Supreme called out.
Lin Fei's eyes sparkled slightly as he ceased his attack. He had felt it too; his punch was unnaturally potent. Doomsday Supreme, also a Body of Chaos, seemed utterly unable to resist. It was peculiar.
Lin Fei pondered briefly before replying thoughtfully, "Perhaps it is because I can embody a world. My flesh is my world. In the transformation pool, transforming my body into a Body of Chaos essentially meant transforming an entire world into a chaos-characteristic world. Therefore, I absorbed a massive amount of chaotic energy for the transformation. Fortunately, the transformation was successful. My Eternal Realm now possesses traits of chaos. Perhaps this is why I became stronger than Doomsday Supreme after transforming into a Body of Chaos."
Doomsday Supreme instantly understood. The world—that was the key. Lin Fei's Eternal Realm had also transformed, meaning Lin Fei had absorbed an immense amount of chaotic energy.
The transformation pool, having accumulated chaotic energy for eons, likely had most of its energy, perhaps as much as seventy to eighty percent, absorbed by Lin Fei's physical form. How could he not be stronger, having absorbed so much?
Doomsday Supreme, with a trace of envy, exclaimed, "I never expected this. Supreme Lin Fei to have such an opportunity. However, it's a good thing. The stronger you are now, the mightier you'll be as a Master of Chaos later. Yet, even though we've transformed into Bodies of Chaos, the gap to become Master of Chaos remains vast. Supreme Lin, until we meet again! Let's see who among us achieves the status of Master of Chaos first."
With that, Doomsday Supreme transformed into a streak of light and vanished into the chaotic void.
Lin Fei offered a slight smile, discerning the pride in Doomsday Supreme. Despite standing before Lin Fei, Doomsday Supreme was not one to easily concede defeat. Though currently lesser in strength, the true test lay in attaining the stature of a Master of Chaos—a feat he vowed to achieve before Lin Fei.
Yet, Lin Fei remained indifferent to this competitive spirit. Although he hadn't kept a tally, he was aware that those he had surpassed remained perpetually behind him. Almost none had managed to catch up once overtaken.
However, Lin Fei's immediate concern was not the pursuit of becoming a Master of Chaos. His thoughts drifted to the Dark Demon Domain and its ruler, the Dark Demon Lord—a persistent threat to the Divine Realm.
Previously, Lin Fei was unable to resolve this menace, but his recent transformation might have changed that. With his entire Eternal Realm transformed, his strength had multiplied manifold. Perhaps he was now capable of addressing the issues in the Dark Demon Domain.
"Dark Demon Domain..." Lin Fei murmured softly.
Without hesitation, his figure flashed, transforming into a beam of light that disappeared into the chaotic void, heading towards the Dark Demon Domain.
